On May 21st 2005, Black Violin, two classically trained violinists took home the title ""2005 Apollo Legends", which catapulted them to international fame. These two gentlemen, Kevin Marcus and Wilner Baptiste, along with their extraordinary producer DJ Dwayne 'TK' Dayal, have created the ultimate synergy between classical symphonic music and today's pop and urban melodies with an incredible ability to inspire virtually everyone, everywhere. Kevin and Wil, both graduates of Dillard Performing Arts High School in Miami went on to Florida International and Florida State Universities on full music scholarships, where they studied with members of the Miami String Quartet.
